Young Surgeons Award
The Swiss Society for Cardiac and Thoracic Vascular Surgery awards a a generous CHF 10'000 prize for an outstanding scientific paper in the field of cardiac and thoracic vascular surgery. The paper may be submitted as a manuscript or as an offprint. In the case of a previous publication, this must not be older than six months. The submitted work must not have been submitted for a prize elsewhere. Applicants must not yet hold a specialist title in cardiac and thoracic vascular surgery, yet must be employed in Switzerland. The prize must be used for training and will only be granted if the intended purpose has been publicized.
Applicants should submit their work via email to the office of the Swiss Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery by April 30, 2026:
