Welcome to the Swiss Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Vascular Surgery. Our members are primarily physicians who specialize in cardiac surgery and practice in Switzerland. The society was founded in 1986.

The main focus ot the Swiss Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Vascular Surgery is to oversee the quality of medical professional activity and safeguard the professional and economic interest of the medical profession in general and of cardiac surgeons in particular. In doing so we are committed to the ethical principles underlying medical practice and are guided be the code of professional conduct of the FMH.
